Deep Creek, Florida
The golfing community of Deep Creek is an area to be desired. Nestled off the shores of the Peace River, northeast of Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda, Deep Creek is a striking, deed restricted area offering wonderful homes, flawlessly tucked amongst the Florida landscape.
Deep Creek is an architectural playground, represented with modern homes, condominiums, townhomes, and villas….and plenty of room for additional growth! The residences, designed with beauty in mind, were constructed near areas of lush green terrain, fresh water lakes, and the fairways of the Deep Creek Golf Club, the perfect setting for the definitive in serenity. One of the unique aspects of Deep Creek are the many homes that are situated on “greenbelts”; areas to the rear and sides of properties that are maintained by the community and add an extra buffer zone between you and your neighbors.
Deep Creek is divided by a one and a half mile stretch named Sandhill Boulevard, dividing the north and south sections, Section 20 and 23 respectively. Both are managed by a separate home owner’s association, led by a separate board of directors, with their own set of deed restrictions. However, this is the only underlying difference, whereas their characteristics and responsibilities remain the same: To continue to maintain and enhance the entire splendor that Deep Creek has to offer.
Deep Creek wouldn’t be deemed a Golfing Community if it didn’t offer the best in fairways and putting greens. Voted the Best Golf Course the past six years in a row, this Mark McCumber designed course is intended to challenge and test skill, all while entertaining ones love for the game. There is a full-service pro shop, as well as a driving range and café on the premises.
In the northeastern corner of Deep Creek is the scenic, 2000-acre Deep Creek Preserve. This park showcases southwest Florida, with towering pines and a plethora of vegetation overlooking and embracing miles of walking and hiking trails. Future plans include equestrian trails as well as sites for camping.
Deep Creek is located in an ideal location, with convenient access to Interstate 75 and all that southwest Florida has to offer. With a bank, convenient stores, and dining within the community, residents do not have to venture far for various amenities. Nevertheless, Deep Creek is only a short driving distance to an abundance of fine dining, shopping, and activities to cater to every whim.
With a magnificent landscape set in a superb section of southwest Florida, Deep Creek is, and continues to be, a favored area for visitors and residents alike.
